Departure: Ft. Lauderdale had it's act together. No problems boarding. Ship: It was big, no big atrium. Store were adequate and staff very friendly. Theatre was good, no posts to block your view. Seat rows were too close for a taller person. No room for bar staff to maneuver. Running track was very short, 16 laps for a mile and not in a round shape. Outdoor movie screen was excellent. Sunday afternoon football without glare. Movie selections were good. Nice pools. We skirted tropical storm Neil. This shape has a shallower draft and rocked more than others. Our cabin was forward and the slow motion rocked you to sleep. Cabins were pretty well sound proof.
Dining: We had horrible waiter and assistant. Gave them two chances and from then on we opted to dine in the buffet. Food selection is dining room was limited. You can get the same items plus more in buffet. Deserts were poor and mostly tasteless.
Nice wine bar and snacks on Plaza deck. They offered coffee but charged $1.75 a cup. Otherwise, you had to go to the Lido deck buffet area for free coffee, which was just as good.
