A quick review . . .

We did seem to miss the road signs for the entrance into the port and parking, but finally made it, still with smiles on our faces. Security, check in and boarding went very smoothly. Altho I must admit that this was my 10th cruise on Carnival and therefore entitled us to the VIP line. Platinum status is awesome! We arrived shortly after 1pm and were in our cabin by 130, and having lunch soon after that.

Soon after sailing while in our cabin unpacking (Upper 227, oceanview), we noticed an unusual noise coming from the engine. Unfortunately, it never went away and after trying to sleep for 2 hours later that evening, we called the purser's desk at 130am. After a staff person came to verify it, we were sent to a lower lever inside cabin to sleep.
