Embarkation out of Cape Liberty proceeded without problems beginning at 12 noon. The Constellation is a large ship carrying approx 2000 passengers and congestion was minimal. We have cruised 30+ times on various cruise lines,Celebrity being our our favorite; however, lacking somewhat in the food department since our last cruise with them.

The ship is magnificently laid out and directions front and aft were instructive. The sculptures were strange, but interesting. Elevators were always swift no matter the time of day. The activities for the day were nicely arranged with lots of trivia for those so inclined. The self improvement classes were informative and I especially found the Culinary class, headed by the Executive Chief, intelligently presented.

The cabin is large enough for 2 people, ample drawer and closet space. The bathroom is quite right and serves its purpose. The cabin steward, Camilio, was available most of the day for any queries and for our personal needs. On one particular night I was sick and he helped getting my room service quickly sent to my cabin. I appreciated that personal touch.
