Just returned from a 7nt cruise on Liberty of the Seas. Our ports were San Juan, St Maarten and Labadee. Ship is very large with many activities to choose from. I personally did not like the ship decor, strange artwork. Our room was a nice size however we had a funky hallway odor that never could be resolved the whole trip. We were offered free movies inroom the entire trip to make up for it. We loved the onboard amenities. My kids and husband loved the flow rider but my son was too little to go on. There is a height requirement and he was very disappointed. Rock climbing great, golf was fun, and I loved the gym. I wish they offered more aerobics classes during the day, it was mostly pay classes like pilates and yoga. I prefer kickboxing and step. It seems the staff is newer, since ship is not that old and they lack experience on how to be helpful. Public areas around pool and clubs seemed like staff walked by empty bottles and trash and ignored. For the size of ship it was understaffed. Also diamond lounge had a very rude concierge, only helpful last day when looking for tip. Best nt activity was the pub on promenade, awesome singer. Destinations, St Maarten booked snorkeling from ship on Golden Eagle, great boat, had a blast, but be aware island is a nude beach, did not realize and had to keep kids focused on fish in water. Labadee is beautiful but a lot of charges. Aqua park was a blast but was expensive. 60 dollars for 4 for only 1 hr. Floating mats were the best but again a 10 ea charge and when you walk away others take them and they run out and can not replace so you are stuck out of money.
