This was my first cruise. My friend and I are early 30's females and we had a blast. Her expectations were exceeded as well, and she has cruised with NCL and Royal Caribbean.

Embarkation was a snap. We arrived at about 1pm and were onboard within 20 minutes. No long lines at Ft. Lauderdale - I guess they know how to make it smooth by now. Our room was ready; we lucked out with a wheelchair access inside room which was a good deal larger than standard ones. We were up in the buffet within a few minutes. Disembarkation was no problem either; because we did nothing we were automatically given express and got off when we were finally forced to (had trouble packing) at 10am.

The ship: Clean, big, bright though a bit wobbly during "moderate seas", which we seemed to encounter every other night. I got used to it though, no sea-sickness. (My friend had the Dramamine patch and experienced the strangest side effects - dry mouth, diminished vision, etc!). We took the stairs mostly because elevators waits were long.
