We sailed with a group of eleven ages 50-75. I will write this review from my perspective. I am 50 and have sailed on several cruise lines this being my 5th with Carnival and 11th cruise overall. My boyfriend and I had a balcony cabin 9236 on Lido deck. Cabin was in a great location. I did not hear any noise from deck chairs on deck above. I really enjoyed being able to walk right out our hall to all lido deck activities.

Embarkation was a hassle and probably made worse by the rain and the fact that we arrived at peak time 300pm. We used taxi service from airport to ship. That is definitely the way to go, less expensive and quicker. Carnival needs to have a Funpass line in San Juan if they are going to insist on people filling out the funpass. Note: the liquor store thing really works. There are 2 liquor stores...one downstairs at bottom of escalator (very small and crowded). There is a larger one upstairs just before the security station.

It took us about 1 and half hours to get to our cabin after landing in San Juan. Not too terrible, but long when you are excited.
