OK all lets begin by saying that I was traveling with a group of 15 family and friends in celebration of my son's 13th birthday.
Embarkation - WHAT A JOKE!! The lines took for ever, I can honestly say that in the 7 previous cruises I have been on I have never had a experience like this in my life. This was my first time on Carnival and I didn't know what to expect, it is also my first time starting a cruise off of the US mainland, but I will get to that later. Let's just say I was online with my wife, my mother, my 13 and 1 year olds son's for at least 1 hour before we reached the front of the line.
When we finally got on the ship and went to our cabin was I ever surprised. We had booked a Balcony cabin for myself, my wife and the baby to have a crib, and I can honestly say that this was the smallest cabin I have ever been in. THANKS for the great view, but this hardly compares to the standard cabin on other cruise lines.
