Overall I have to say that my cruise experience on the Crown Princess was very good. Of course, there were a few bumps along the way.

Traveling with me was my partner, his sister, and a friend of hers. We are all in our mid to late 40s. We had 2 balcony cabins (L251 and A218, respectively).

EMBARKATION: The first bump was the embarkation process. I'm sure most other reviews of this cruise will have the same horror story. We arrived at the dock about 2pm. We made it to our room about 3 hours later. There was a complete absence of management inside the terminal. It appears that 2 of the security machines were broken; the other 2 machines were working on and off. This caused the line to back up into the previous checkpoint to register your credit card and room key. Gridlock ensued and no supervisors were around. It was complete chaos.
