I have a diverse age of kids that I brought along on this cruise, all boys, 22,20 and 13. I decided to do a cruise, (short one) because not all wanted to go skiing this winter. We are all first time cruisers.

We flew directly in to Miami from Indianapolis on Air Tran. This airline was recommended by my cruise booking agent. Thanks! We saved a TON of money by booking with this airline. Got off the plane, took a $24 taxi for the 4 of us straight to the port. Embarkation went real smoothly. Our rooms were actually ready about 11:30am. Everything was real clean and tidy. Up to the Lido deck for a drink and sandwich. All was good. I couldn't believe the prices of the fru-fru drinks, but went ahead drank a couple. As the ship left port, it was nice weather, and I shot up to the highest point (jogging track) to make my last calls on my cell phone before we hit the "cellular at sea" mode.

This ship was okay. The food was plentiful, and very tasty. My kids had to get used to the dinner attire, as hats and shorts were not acceptable. We took the late dinner in the Imagination room.
