We weren't too disappointed with our cruise; only the fact that I let the cruise employee talk me into getting our rooms at the very back of the ship!! That was a BIG mistake. The Elation, being an older ship, has motors that vibrate horribly. Me and my grand-daughter's cabin made the most awful noises all night long! I did not complain because I didn't want to be moved away from my husband and grand-son's cabin which was right next door and very convenient. The food was as good as any we've had on other cruises. I appreciate the fact that they don't serve huge portions and you feel better about having eaten your dinner without wasting any food.

Because of a storm off the coast of Mexico our excursion in La Paz was cancelled but we were able to go into town and spend the afternoon at the beach. If you are thinking of doing this cruise make sure you do the dolphin encounter. It was certainly one of the high-lights of our trip. Our grand-kids are 16, 14 and 11 and they truly enjoyed this experience. We also did the horseback riding in Ensenada and had a wonderful time there as well. The "cowboys" that ride with you are very nice people to say the least! What fun! (A beautiful ranch, Rita).

Embarkation and debarkation were no trouble at all. Very organized. We even got to the airport so far ahead of schedule that we changed our flight and got back home 3 hours ahead of time.
