This was the first time my husband and I took a cruise in 24 years, so we really did not know what to expect.

The Elation was awesome. We had a great time and were pleased with almost everything. We arrived around noon and immediately got to board the ship and relax and eat lunch until our room was ready. By 1:30 our bags were by our door and we unpacked. The room was great, with a huge window, nice size bathroom and shower. King size bed with great linens. (I slept really well all of the nights) Plenty of closet space and drawer space.

The entertainment was good and the poolside entertainment was good too. This happened to be the weekend before Halloween and the costumes were a little over the top from one group that was on the ship. I am not the type of person to judge what sexual preference you like, but there was a large number of Gay men on this ship that were not very discreet about their sexual preference. They dressed up as drag queens one night and the next night they were performing sex acts in one of the bars. When our friend approached a security guard to inform him on what was going on, he chose to ignore it. We were also told that the costumes were supposed to be G-rated and one man had on a leather thong.
