Ship Facts: Monarch of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Monarch of the Seas Deck Plans
Monarch of the Seas - Pacific Coastal
Entered in San Pedro for 4 nights to San Diego, Catalina Island, and Ensenada, Baja California Mexico. The cruise experience on the Monarch of the Seas was very good. "B+" Second time cruising on this ship and itinerary. The service personnel were excellent. The food was above average, and I was impressed with the Dining room service and the excellent food. The Windjammer cafe for breakfast and lunch buffets were very nice also. The Stateroom attendant was excellent and cleaned our room twice each day. Always left a made up towel animal figure in the evening that was so cute. The bed was also very comfortable. Showroom entertainment was also above average. And all the ship personnel I came across were extremely helpful. Our inside cabin was small but adequate. TV channels, were diverse. Not just CNN, but also FoxNews, and Headline news channels. I am doing another cruise on this ship in February '08 and I am looking forward to some more excellent service from this ship. My first cruise experience was on this ship in January 2005 and this was our 10th cruise. The great service and food, along with all the nice onboard entertainment was wonderful. I did the same itinerary on the Carnival Pride, and was not pleased at all. Very mediocre food, and room service. The entertainment was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. Other then that not much positive to say about the Carnival Pride. "C"
