We sailed on the Inspiration Oct. 13th to Grand Cayman & Calica. The embarkation was effortless. Our hotel dropped us off at the port about 11:20 am and we were on board by 12:30. Wasn't able to get to our staterooms until 1:30 but the burgers on the Lido deck made the wait much easier. The new staterooms are really nice. New beds, bedding, comforters, and pillows. There is plenty of closet space and they even had body wash and shampoo in the shower. Once we were settled in we began exploring the ship and it is wonderful. The food all over the ship was great but especially in our main dining room, the "Carnival". Our server's were Suzanna and Renato and they were GREAT!!!! We were treated like royalty and didn't want for anything. They were very attentive to our needs and waited on us with a vigor that few have. They really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The decks were easy to navigate and the lounges were fun. The Karaoke bar was a real hoot as well. Didn't spend to much time at the pool because I'm not a person that can be around screaming, ill mannered children but when they weren't around it was nice. I really enjoyed the new Adult Serenity deck!! Grand Cayman was fun. Didn't do any of the excursions but had a great time just wondering in and out of the shops. Calica was a BLAST!!! We went on the Cavern & Jeep tour which was a real experience. Everyone convoyed to a private beach and had "real" Mexican food. Then went to an underground cavern snorkeling. Debarkation went very smooth. The new "zone" #'s are a real improvement over the way they used to do things and we were off of the boat about 9:45 or so. We will definitely cruise with Carnival again!!!
