I have been on several cruises before 3 previous with Carnival. According to the cruise director, The Fascination ranked one for its Fantasy fleet and number 3 overall in the Carnival fleet. I happen to believe it. I will be brief with the following with the ship: 1- Embarkation easy on the ship in 30 minutes. Carnival opened a brand new terminal. The cabin refurbished spacious for an inside cabin. Flat panel tv complemented along with new carpet and interior. No signs of wear. 2 -food service; in lido quick,, Out of seven cruises I took real quick. Even on sea days prompt very short lines. Eggs never left out food never sitting ,served on smaller trays replaces quickly. Food service lines transitioned from breakfast to lunch no pause in service. Dining room service real efficient. My table had three servers for two people. One in training two experienced staff.A rarity nowadays outside dining. 3 ship.. The ship built in 1994 recently overhauled; it looks great. It was built before the mega ship years. All teak decks no vinyl. I was on the Caribbean Princess with 3500 people. This ship had more deck space! The Fascination overall had more deck space than other ships I have been on! The pool area had its typical crowds. but the ship offered solic. The public areas where spacious about same size as bigger ships I have been on. THe gym was a big surprise. All brand new Life Fitness free weights, treadmills and machine. It was real with plenty of free weights.4 Ports of call no chaos walked off ship no wait. 5 disembarkation - not an issue walked off went through customs. I mean just walked off no watching CNN in a theatre. Airport style baggage claims

5-overall value and satisfaction. Totally surprised. Unlike other cruise lines that cut corners on on short cruise with run down ships and slim food offerings the Fascination goes at 100% . I have paid alot more for less on other cruises. If anyone complains about the ship try other cruises for the price and realize what a great value this is. If The ship changed its ports of call I would go on it again. Everytime I wrote a review on here I would point out the good and bad, There is no bad on the Fascination on my cruise. I have used Carnival, RCL, Holland America, and Princess.and came back with issues with all the ships. If the ship ranks number three in feedback surveys in satisfaction no doubt it would satisfy. To sum it up the longest wait I had was ordering deli meat while in miami at a supermarket.
