Diamond Princess - 15 day Hawaii cruise - October 4th - 19th, 2007

Background This was my 18th cruise on Princess and second to the Hawaiian Islands. My first Hawaii cruise was on the Island Princess in 2005. My whole family went with me and included my parents, sister, BIL, 7 year old niece and 15 month old nephew.

Embarkation We arrived at the pier at 1:30 and were on board by 2:15. Pretty good considering that there were a lot of people waiting to board when we got there! There were many elderly people who had difficulty walking on our cruise. As a result, embarkation was slowed by the vast amount of wheelchairs, walkers and larks. Read more
