Golden Princess 9/29/07- 10/6/07

DH and I are in late 20's and early 30's. This was our fifth cruise, but first with Princess. We have never been to LA so we flew out a day early and stayed at the Westin LAX which we booked through priceline with a bid of $60. Okay accommodations. We also did a tour of LA the Friday before and that was also okay, I am not too crazy about the Friday rush hour traffic though.

EMBARKATION- We used Golden West to get us from the hotel to the pier, which was $58 one way. Yes, it is a little more that SuperShuttle, but we had a private car and the driver was on time and we had no trouble with them. (We also used them for the return trip and again had no trouble - I would use them again.) As far as the embarkation process, I was very impressed. It was the best embarkation that we have ever had. We got to the pier at about 11AM. We did not have to wait hardly at all in any lines. We were group #3 to board but it did not seem to take long to go through the other groups so we were on board in no time.
