Ship Facts: Celebrity Summit Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Summit Deck Plans
Summit - Pacific Coastal

WE ENJOYED MOST OF OUR CRUISE BUT FOUND THE POOL AREA A LITTLE ANNOYING DURING THE DAY. THE PEOPLE WERE SAVING CHAIRS AT 6 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING. THE MAJORITY OF THE CRUISE WAS GEARED FOR OLDER PEOPLE WHICH I THINK YOUR TRAVEL AGENT SHOULD KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS WHEN YOU BOOK.

I THOUGHT THE NORMANDIE RESTAURANT WAS CHARMING AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. I TRULY LOVED ALL OUR PORTS OF CALL EXCEPT GRAND CAYMAN, WE DECIDED TO DO SOME SHOPPING AND TOOK A TENDER OVER TO THE AREA. UNLESS YOU'RE SHOPPING FOR JEWELRY IT'S JUST OK. I WISHED THAT WE WOULD HAVE BOOKED AN EXCURSION INSTEAD.

OUR WAITERS, MARIO & SOO WERE DELIGHTFUL AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THE SAME FOR OUR CABIN STEWARD, JUAN, HE COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR US. THE CELEBRITY SINGERS AND DANCERS WERE WONDERFUL. WE FELT THE SHOWS WERE GREAT AND ENJOYED THEM IMMENSELY. THE REVELATIONS LOUNGE WAS FUN AND THE VOLTZ BAND WAS TERRIFIC. I HAD A BALL ON ISLAND NIGHT, DANCED A LOT. MY HUSBAND ENTERED THE KARAOKE CONTEST IN THE RENDEZVOUS LOUNGE AND DID WELL. HE FELT THAT THE SOME OF THE STAFF DIDN'T RUN THINGS CORRECTLY, THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW HOW TO GET PEOPLE INVOLVED OR MAKE THINGS FUN LIKE ON OTHER SHIPS WE WERE ON EXCEPT WHEN THE CRUISE DIRECTOR WAS RUNNING IT THEN IT SEEMED TO GO BETTER.

WE WERE WITH EIGHT OTHER PEOPLE SO WE ALL HAD DIFFERENT OPINIONS. WE THOUGHT THE WATERFALL GRILL WAS GOOD AND HAD BREAKFAST AND LUNCH THERE MOST EVERYDAY. WE JUST WISHED THAT WE WOULD HAVE BEEN ON A CRUISE WITH MORE LIVELIER PEOPLE, NOTHING AGAINST OLDER PEOPLE BUT EVERYWHERE WE WENT PEOPLE WERE SLEEPING BY THE POOL THE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE WONDERFUL BAND THEY HAD PLAYING AND THEIR CHAIRS WERE ALL OVER THE DANCE AREA SO IT DIDN'T SEEM AS MUCH FUN AROUND THE POOL AREA AS OTHER CRUISES WE TOOK. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE AT SEA THE POOL AREA SHOULD BE EXTRA SPECIAL IN OUR OPINIONS AFTERALL YOUR ON VACATION.

THE SHIP WAS PRETTY NICE BASICALLY AND THE STAFF VERY CARING AND HOSPITABLE.
