just to add a few things to funduos review we meant on the ship and all hung out the week and some others too all great people we arrived a day early and stayed a day after in old sanjuan at the Sheridan across from the dock we walked to the ship with luggage very close rates from 140 a night and lots to see and do in old san juan we had dinner at hard rock on arrival and some shopping all walking distances from hotel very hard to find a breakfast restaurant in old san juan we did eat at subway 1 morning ok and cheap nothing special last day before going home we ate at Yurta deli /cafe/market very good 359 san francisco st in old sanjuan the owner is from switzerland and everything is freshly made try her out before getting on ship is the duty free and yes they let you bring on board as long as it is in carry on not in plain sight and same thing in port within reason We had VIP boarding and were on the ship by 11:45 kinda cool no lines and private lounge for check in BUT as funduo said NO BOARDING picture and no one on the ship could explain either were in room by 2:30 we had a double balcony 6371 8a aft rear ship very cold room too our end of ship was always cold room steward was pedro we wasn't much for detail I think room was vacuumed only twice the whole week and with other things our bathroom flooded which was fixed but we cleaned up the mess as no one ever came to do as for the room the steward only turned room down 3 times the week and normally it was after 10:00 at night and always late to be made up but think he was shorthanded this week NOT REALLY COMPLAINING BUT COULD OF BEEN BETTER FOR WHAT YOU PAY

we were on this ship 5 years ago and about the same is getting old but don't really show it were told last year for destiny moving to florida to do 5 day cruises and spirit is moving south if this is accurate I booked all excursions from home nothing through carnival we booked beno in dominica and hes great but nothing like cosol in st lucia I wont say much on either since fun duo said about all they are both great wont be disappointed with either but cosol is the best and well worth the 45 pp price lots to do and lots to see 1 thing with benos tour very dangerous in places and you should be ready for lots of climbing and be in good shape the ship does the same tour but don't let the people go where we went at the hotsprings and falls funduo did this trip too and think they would agree with me and they did great too both should be proud with what they did for the week with us we drove them hard on these tours I went scuba diving in st thomas with coki divers shore dive and 1/2 price of the ship and same place great people all great equipment but I did bring own peter is the owner and he will take care of you I dove with 8 people and the dive master was who they call turtle hes the best see lots on the reef and would go back in a minute again there were jelly fish and sea urchins so as always watch your step also coki divers pays 1 way taxi for the divers 9.00 each way and kinda long way but very nice site for beginners and nice beach the locals don't pester you to death

we went alone to a beach in barbados went on the recommendation of a local and that was a mistake we would of went to the boat yard bad and beach but were mislead as to price and pushed to this beach same beach cruise ship brings people to on the catamaran for the snorkeling with the turtles which i did from the beach very good but no reef nice beach but 20 dollars pp round trip and the locals were fighting on the beach about who is whos customer police were involved and not very relaxing would recommend the boatyard
