This review is for any ladies out there who may be wondering if they should take the step of cruising solo. I'm writing this because so many times during my cruise, I was asked if I were traveling alone and, when I said that I was, surprised looks and the comment "Aren't you brave!" were offered.

Using the outline suggested by many for giving information to others: "Tell them what you're going to tell them, tell them, then tell them what you've told them," I'll begin my little review by saying, "GO!," or, as Royal Caribbean has already said so well, "Get Out There!"

I must watch my budget carefully, so I booked through Royal Caribbean's own web site. I monitored the offerings until I found a great price for Majesty of the Seas for the week I was able to get off work. I have to pay extra because I'm sailing solo, but I do get the discount for being over 55, and sometimes, for being a resident of my State. I also caught my own airline special, again by monitoring the AirTran website until I found the right price for the dates I needed.
