Just returned from carnival legend 7 night cruise. This is our first cruise and we loved it. Arrived in Tampa about 11am and when we arrived on the boat, were able to get right on. Check in was very fast and convenient. Porter took our bags for us, tipped him $2 a bag. Went right through port authority no problem. On the ship eating lunch by 2pm.

First stop was George Town, Grand Cayman. Went swimming with the sting rays, my wife and I loved this and also went snorkeling very beautiful coral garden there with a large variety of fish. Besides this I don't think we would return to this port. Very expensive there and not much else I would enjoy doing.

On to Cozumel, Yeah Cozumel. Loved it here. Very friendly people and lots of Tequila and shopping. Can get some really great deals here. Just make sure that you go to the shops off the main strip and don't pay the first asking price and haggle, haggle, haggle. Will probably get even better deals if fewer ships in port. We had 4 on the day we arrived. I am looking forward to returning to this port a number of times.
