Our 20th cruise husband 49, wife 51, daughter 25, friend 26 (separate cabins) Was a carnival critic early 90's, but after cruiseline spent much needed money on food/entertainment/ships came back to carnival in early 2000. I see Carnival going through some pains again, they offer low fares, but with this comes lower quality and lower class passenger(s)(loud/demanding/rude/not very educated, sorry) Found this to be my last time for Carnival. Embarkation was fast and friendly. Debarkation was fast, was in airport by 9:15a.m. w/bags already checked. The Large Screen TV at the main pool(s) was disappointing, since we came to sit and enjoy the activities, but were subjected to listening to port talks/call in shows (ship oriented) and concerts (U2) during peak swimming/drinking/splashing hours. What happened to Caribbean music? Band (2 guys) played very limited

Total of 2 ship pool games on our sea day (wow). If I wanted to hear about tour talks I would go to the meetings/watch it in my room. Entertainment: Staff shows were acceptable, but the professional(s) brought on board were extremely good (comedians). Food was close to being unacceptable, but I still gained poundage. Grand Cayman booked our tours ourselves (nativeway.com) were GREAT. Sting Ray city is really a must do nativeway src/snorkeling/rum point was just perfect. The guides were friendly/knowledgeable. Jamaica took ship zip-line tour and again it was perfect friendly/NOT Pushy guides (funny), this was a highlite. Key West, Captain tony's saloon (sorry, been there done that other stuff). Do it again would take the tours, but not the same ship line (sorry carnival, we've had enough). Sold the stock Tuesday
