We flew out of Detroit on the morning of our cruise without any problems at all. We arrived on-time!!! We decided prior to leaving that we were going to take a taxi to the port. Wise decision. We didn't have to wait or fight a huge crowd getting off of the bus! Besides that, it only cost us $24 to get there! Good way to go!

We had a paper in our documents that said DO NOT get to the ship before 1:00. We got there around 11-11:15 and were on the ship by 12:00. Our rooms weren't ready until 1:00, but that wasn't a big deal because we just went to the Windjammer and had lunch.

We had an inside room above the Promenade. Room 7297. Our room was extremely small. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone and everyone that they should get a balcony room. From what I heard, it was well worth the extra money spent. I saw a balcony room and there was a TON more room in those than ours. It was nice to have a Promenade room, but I would have rather had a balcony room. Oh well. Lesson learned.
