First time on Carnival Cruise Lines, past travelers the Caribbean Princess, are these two cruise lines really owned by the same company?

Our review of the 3 night Carnival Sensation Cruise to the Bahamas began on a very positive note. Port Canaveral was most impressive and contained none of the crowds and stress associated with Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. Check in was a breeze and Mary, the Carnival VIP representative, zipped us through the process and we were up to our cabin in a record nine minutes. If the same cruise exists in several ports choose Canaveral.

Our room was a very nice, roomy and clean penthouse suite located on the upper deck. The balcony for this cabin was rather large and was furnished with 2 chairs and a table. We met our cabin steward Ana who provided us with wonderful service, including extra ice as necessary. The cabin was really nice!
