This was our first Princess cruise, and we enjoyed ourselves. Previously I have cruised on Carnival and Norwegian. Although I enjoyed those as well, Princess is clearly a few steps up the ladder.

Embarkation was extremely smooth since there was no one on line in front of us. (As a suite passenger, there is an express line to check in.) Total time from entering terminal until we arrived on boat was no more than 10 minutes.

We originally booked an AA mini-suite, and were surprised to get upgraded to PH suite C425 in the middle of the ship. This cabin was the biggest I have ever been in, approx. 550 sq ft. Our balcony was 2x wider than those above and below us and definitely 2x deeper as well. Three of us shared the cabin and definitely didn't have any problems with space. A curtain separates the living room area from the bedroom, and there is a door between the shower/tub area and toilet/sink in the bathroom.
