This was my first cruise ever, and my first time to the Caribbean. I traveled with my two good friends from college, and we used the excuse that it was our 10 reunion from college to plan the trip - not that we needed an excuse though! Friend 1 had cruised many times before, however it was friend 2's first time as well.

Embarkation - I had a 2 hour drive from South Jersey to get to my friends and then a car service brought us to the pier. We booked a cat. 11 suite so we had VIP check-in. Everything went really smoothly and we were on board in no time.

Cabin - Our cabin was amazing. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. The bathroom was beautiful. I ended up sleeping on the couch that turns into a bed and thought it was more comfy than the other beds. Our balcony was great, it had two chairs a table and a deck chair. I loved being able to get away from the other people for a few hours and still be able to be outside. Our room stewards were great, we rarely saw them. I think we drove them crazy because a number of days we didn't get up until really late so they only made up the room once those days while we were at dinner!
