Crown Princess - Canada/New England

Sail Date: September 2007
Destination: Canada & New England
Embarkation: New York (Manhattan)

Our biggest complaint: The food was, on the whole, BAD. Even in the extra-charge Crown Grill, bad. The petit filet I had in the Crown Grill was inedible. Lobster? A joke. Lobsters looked like crayfish.

The ship was late to certain ports, cutting our shore time short. Long lines to tender back to the ship.

Service overall was minimum quality; no smiles, no fun.

Everytime we turned around, we were being harassed to purchase "extra" things. The nickle-dime approach. Not pleasant.

The good news? Embarkation and debarkation went quickly and smoothly. Our tour guide in Newport was excellent (Doris Duke's Rough Point). Room service, Jove, was always cheerful and provided us with that "extra touch." (We ended up opting for room service over the bad dining room food!)

Bottom line: Would we go again on the Crown Princess? No! Less
