Sail Date: Sep 2007

4 of us drove to Miami, 3 hours from our homes, to board the Carnival Triumph and enjoy 7 days in the Eastern Caribbean. The port of Miami is a great place to sail from and the departure is always visually exciting.

Embarkation and boarding went very smoothly and we went up to Lido and lunch, typical buffet food...always ok..just not memorable. But the freshly grilled cheeseburger was great and a good start to 7 days of eating pleasures.

We went to our balcony cabin and were pleased with the layout and the furnishings. It was a great place to enjoy what ended up being 7 lovely, smooth, and relaxing days on a cruise. We enjoyed beautiful nights on the balcony just enjoying the moon and the stars reflecting on calm seas...not to mention the unforgettable views of St. Thomas and San Juan as we were arriving and leaving. Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk are just plain gorgeous in their own tropical setting....the colors of the waters against the white sand beaches will always be an unforgettable memory.
