First impression of this ship. It is quite big. The state rooms were decent size and were very nice. We had a balcony room. As we became more familiar with the ship. We realized that the service was decent at best. I did not find the ship very glamorous either. We did Love our Room Stewart Rolando He had a wonderful personality and was very good. Our waiter in the dining room was pretty good too. But in the windjammer we had to get our own coffee. There was not enough workers around. I guess we got spoiled on our last cruise. We were on the Celebrity Millennium which was 5+ on service. On that ship there was always someone there to bring a ladies tray to the table. I also got more personal attention on the Millennium. At the Casino they new who I was and what I wanted to drink and I didn't even have to show my card. On the Freedom of the seas many times I had to go to the bar to get my own drink. The food was below par both in the Windjammer and the main dining room. We went to chops one of the specialty restaurants and had the best dinner of the cruise. Highly recommended. I also heard that Portofino's is very good too. Wish we would have ate there too. We only saw a couple of shows and both were pretty good. We did enjoy the ice show a lot.

The Schooner bar was our favorite place to hang out. The bartenders are great and they do some neat tricks. They had a piano player who was good. Our best shore experience was in Labadee. They set chairs up for you and the beaches are nice and there is a lot to do. And they have a nice lunch for you. This was our first time On Royal Caribbean and we were a little disappointed. I guess we expected the service and food to be better. I think this ship is also geared more for families. So if you are looking to get away from the kids this is not the ship. Next time we will go with the Celebrity unfortunately the don't have as many ships. But the food and service was outstanding and it's more for an older crowd
