The Liberty of the Seas is a beautiful ship I travelled with my husband,my son age 25, and son's friend age 21. We were on the August 11, sailing. We were very pleased with the embarkation, we have been on many RCCL cruises, and were escorted on board by the diamond-plus member representative, Christina. She was extremely helpful on our entire cruise. We enjoyed visiting the diamond members lounge. It was much more spacious than the concierge lounge, and had a wonderful view.

Our first day we spent exploring the ship, playing bingo, and just relaxing. This was a first cruise for our son's friend, so it was fun to see her amazement at all the things to do and see. The cruise staff was excellent, always very helpful, and friendly, in every area of the ship.

We were in the rembrandt room for dinners. Our wait staff was very pleasant, but very forgetful when it came to our orders. Quite often items ordered were not served, and we had to remind our wait person on many occasions. Dining room food was overall very good. We were however a little disappointed in the dessert selections. My husband and I are very strict weight watcher members, but we splurge on the cruises. There were never many, if any, pies on the menu. Breakfast we normally had in the diamond members lounge. There is a selection of juices, rolls, fresh fruits, and coffee. For lunches we tried both the windjammer and the dining room. The dining room is very nice but does not vary from day to day on selections. The windjammer had a better selection with many more dessert choices.
