My husband and I were on our 5th cruise. We haven't sailed since 2004. 3-times with Royal and 2 with Princess. We are in our middle 40's. Embarkation went very smooth. Got off the bus from airport at 12:10 and was in our room at 1:15. A great bonus seeing the Patriots and Jets on the MUTS by the pool. A must see at anytime. This feature is a added bonus for the Princess ships. It's great to be lying in the sun and watching a movie. It's a must see for everyone! Food was very good in the dining room. Portioned perfect. The buffet's were good also. At times a bit crowded, but plenty of variety and good quality. Sometimes it's hard to find a good table, but that no big deal. Pizza not bad. Cheeseburgers very good. Ice cream at scoops excellent. Anytime dining is the way to go! We sat with all different people from all over the world and that was really nice. A new face of people everynight. No rush on when we want to eat. Anytime between 5:30 and 10:00. The Coral Dining room is much better then the Palm. Took lot's of pictures from their professionals, but only bought (1). 24.99 for each picture. The casino wasn't bad, played a few games. It's a smoking room, so if you don't like smoke (and we don't) it's tough. They have one non-smoking night. Pools are all great. Plenty of chairs all around even on the sea days. You may get further from the pool, but plenty of chairs. Our room was a balcony and worth the extra money. Balcony's are very nice to relax on in the morning for coffee. Be sure to ask for the egg crate for your mattress. Our mattress was a bit springy! Bathroom is small, but easy to get around. Ship's layout is a bit chopped up. I prefer the layout of Royal a bit better. Disembarkation went extremely smooth. We were off by 8:00 and we were at the airport by 9:15. We had a 11:00 flight and we were back home by 2:00 in Boston. A great ship and Princess did a great job.
