Wow, I do not know where to even begin, but everything was absolutely outstanding. I was getting really nervous because I kept seeing these negative reviews and so much criticism. But in my opinion, these people were nuts, old and bitter or just stuck living in some solitude world where everything went their way. I did indeed over hear many grouchy people complaining about the smallest things. Some people are just not reasonable I suppose. For example, when we arrived to check in (I think we got there about 2pm) and it was really the simplest thing ever. I think maybe we stood in a line for 5 minutes and there was some couple ahead of us that were complaining about the wait! So basically I want to assure everyone that many of these criticisms you may have read on these boards are just way overboard and critical. Nothing is perfect. Thats life. Ok, so for the meat of the review: Pools: Just as if you were going to go see a new movie, you should not expect to get prime lounge chair seating if you get there late, but I always found a nice spot and simply had to walk maybe 1 minute to dip into the pool. I also did not feel hounded by drink servers. They would be making their rounds and allow you to wave them over when you felt ready. Pool water was clean and fresh (very few kids on this trip). The Movies Under the Stars was actually quite nice. I only watched it one night but the blankets were cozy and we got some pizza and popcorn and just relaxed. And it was never crowded (I passed by many nights on my to the buffets late at night!) Oh, and the sound was not too loud at all. During the day, sometimes I felt the live band was a little too loud but it wasn't untolerable. When they weren't playing, they usually had the music just perfect, and it was always really relaxing soothing tune, sort of like "The Girl from Ipanema" songs. The food was great. BUT, I love seafood and there really did seem to be a predominance of seafood dishes. We did the anytime dining and ate in both the Da Vinci and the Michelangelo and they are really the same. We ate alone whenever we remembered to make reservations (try to call for reservations before 1pm) but when we showed up at peak times (7-8) we ate with others. We could of just waited to get a table for 2 but I was starving. Everyone seemed really happy with the food but the self proclaimed picky eaters admitted they would prefer more meat and simpler dishes. One guy said from the jump that he did not like to try new things. I was like "Hmmm, why don't you just stay home and keep eating casseroles and meat loaf". Sabatinis is so amazing and delicious. The service is more detailed and you really felt like the wait staff had more time to really wait on you. The Crown was also very good but I would prefer Sabatinis or even just the regular dining room. The DH loves rare "black and blue" steaks and they really prepared it perfect. The service in the regular dining rooms was good but these waiters really seemed overworked and obviously had more tables to look after. My husband was a waiter many years ago before law school and he knows what these guys have to go through, especially when it gets busy. But they were always gracious and would do anything you asked. You just maybe had to wait a few extra minutes.

Oh, and everyone seemed to adhere to proper dress code. This crowd was mostly about 40 and up (I am not too good at age guessing) but of course there were some young couples and very old ones. I saw lots of people in wheel chairs and I saw employees helping them out alot. But my point is that the group over all seemed to be on "cruise wear resort" style. My hubby is 33 and I am 31 and we dressed nicely every dinner and even at lunch when I went to the buffet I used a cute slip on dress over my bikini.

The buffet at lunch was actually not too bad. I usually fixed a nice salad but they would have different things, like ham croissants, cesar wraps, baked chicken, and meat type stews.
