I would recommend this cruise very highly, and look forward to cruising again with Princess. When booking this cruise, it was 2,000 cheaper than RC and I was afraid that the quality of the food would not be on par with X, which we had several cruises in the past. We were delighted!

First, embarkation was wonderful. We arrived a little after 12:00 p.m. and were immediately whisked through processing within 20 minutes we were in our room. WOW! Our past experiences allowed us on the ship but not allowed in rooms for a few hours. Luggage arrived by 2:30 and believe it or not, there was adequate space to unpack (8) pieces of luggage for a family of four!

Being a family of four, we felt that we would need more space than a regular stateroom, so we booked a mini-suite with balcony. I wouldn't go any other way! It helps pricing that the Crown Princess has a large number of these rooms available. (Probably why RC was so pricey). Balcony is great! I woke earlier than the rest of the family and would go out in the morning and read, watch sunrise, watch the ship pulling into port, etc. My husband is a smoker, so he would smoke his cigarettes out on the balcony. It was great just to let a little fresh air into the cabin.
