Embarkation - Not to bad and not to painful Carnival did a decent job as this is my only experience I am unsure of the process being any better or worse but it wasn't to bad or confusing.

Ports - Terrible terrible terrible! We had our ports changed due to Hurricane Dean! Its not Carnivals fault that this actually happened its a Hurricane I cant blame them for that, but they handled it terribly! We paid for 4 ports on our cruise and received as compensation 3 ports instead! We got Nassau, St. Thomas, St. Maarten. Carnivals solution $25 on our cabin cards! yippee that means 3 drinks (Sarcasm)! but wait late bookings were going for $250 to fill the boat... so carnival refunded $25 in credit on board the ship.. sold the same cruise I paid for for $250 which means I overpaid by $600. I didn't get any upgrades and all i got was $25 bucks for being overcharged and shorted a port. This doesn't sound right to me maybe someone can explain the math better to me!

Nassau - we got there and had to be back on board the ship by 2:00 pm which means that your day is rushed... Many people on the ship came from the Bahamas and actually took a cruise back home which is terrible! Shopping was ok but we couldn't do much as far as excursions due to time constraints because we had to be back on the ship very quickly
