Sail Date: Aug 2007

My sister and I sailed on the Crown Princess to the Eastern Caribbean on August 19, 2007. It was a nine day cruise. This was our first cruise with the Princess Cruise Line. The trip was wonderful and we would definitely book again. We previously had sailed on the Celebrity Line (3 trips for me; 2 trips for my sister).

Embarkation in Brooklyn was very easy. There were porters to help with luggage and several "information" people to lead you to the correct lines. We were in our rooms within 45 minutes with our luggage reaching us soon after.

The ship is very nice and quite spacious. Our cabin (twin beds with a balcony) was great. Our balcony was covered and quite suitable for two people. Housekeeping was a huge plus. Whatever we requested was immediately taken care of..in a very friendly manner! Thank you, Mary!! We were on the Riviera Deck (14) and we told that there were 700 children on board and would probably be right above us in the pool. However, we seldom heard any disturbing noise.
