Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas Mon Aug 27th to Sat Sep 1 2007

My best friend and I went on the Enchantment of the Seas that departed from Port Everglades on Monday August 27th. We arrived Monday morning in Fort Lauderdale around 11:00AM. Retrieved our luggage and headed over to Port Everglades via taxi. The taxi was about $15 for 5 mins ride. When we arrived there, we checked in pretty easily and we were on board at about 12:30PM. Since our room wasn't going to be ready until 1PM, we headed up to the Windjammer Marketplace for lunch.

This was my first cruise on Royal Caribbean (I've been on two others with Carnival). I felt that the buffet was a little small and there wasn't enough room in the immediate area to sit (which I had already read about on the Cruise Critic review). We ended up sitting poolside. Anyway, after lunch, we headed down to our room to drop off our things, unpack and change so that we could fully explore the ship. We signed up for the JumpZone and Rock Climbing wall, found our table in the dining room (number 110, all the way in the back), and tried to orient ourselves with each deck (although it still took a couple days to figure out what direction we were walking in).
