This was my first cruise on Royal Caribbean (RCCL), although I have several prior sailings on Celebrity and Carnival. Overall, I'd rank RCCL a bit below Celebrity, but considerably higher than Carnival.
First things first - three tips that I got from other Cruise Critic members that proved valuable:
1) Take a night light. We had an inside cabin and it does get very dark. There was plug on the desk that worked great for the night light as it shielded the bulb from the bed but provided enough light for after dark prowling around the cabin.
