This is my second time on the Caribbean Princess, my first time was back in February of 2007 and traveled with a family group of 8. This time it was just my Aunt and I, and we had a blast!

We flew from NJ to FLL on Saturday and stayed one night at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Blvd. I highly recommend this hotel, I got a great deal on expedia.com for a new room in the executive tower with a view of the waterfront. The room as huge, clean, and the beds were so comfortable. Nice spacious bathroom and good A/C. We spent the day at their pool, and then at night walked down the BLVD to all the shops. We ate at Mancini's restaurant which was excellent. If you go there try the fresh ravioli's in the brown butter cream sage sauce...was terrific! The next morning took a cab to the cruise terminal which was 20.00.

We were supposed to do the western itinerary but due to hurricane Dean we rerouted to their eastern itinerary which we did on our last cruise. Was a bit disappointed but at least we were safe and the weather all week was warm and pleasant.
