We traveled from Atlanta to Vancouver the day of the cruise. We arrived in Vancouver on time at 11:20am, we went through customs quickly and then were on our way from the airport to the pier on a sealed bus. We pre-registered online and walked onto the ship at 1:00pm. We were taken to our cabin immediately and met our cabin steward. By the time we had lunch at the Lido and roamed the ship our luggage had been delivered and we were thoroughly unpacked and moved in by the 4:00pm drill.

We loved the room, king bed, sofa, desk area, double vanity in bath with separate shower and bath. There was plenty of storage space for our belongings and suitcases. The verandah was comfortable with two cushioned chairs and a small table. My only complaint with the cabin/service is that there are four soap dish holders in the bathroom and it was difficult to get more than one bar of soap at a time. I'll bring my own next time.

The ship's interior is worn and tired but we knew that going so our expectations were not high in this area. The staff and service were excellent. Our dining staff in the Vista were great and while the service is good in the Lido, fellow cruiser's bad manners turned us away from the Lido dining by the first day. We ate all meals at the Vista or Pinnacle Grill. We thought the food was very good and took advantage of the galley tour, cooking demonstrations and cooking classes. They don't advertise the cooking class but it is well worth it($29pp).
