Before I start this review, I must mention this is my fourth cruise, and my first on Carnival. My past cruises have been with RCL and Celebrity.

Embarkation Process: Upon arrival we had to show our passport and walk down a long corridor to reach the luggage stand. In this area we had to show our passports again. All the workers that were supposed to be taking care of the luggage were sitting around talking and not being very helpful. The first problem was no one asked us for our luggage to be scanned and secondly they asked me to lift my luggage on the scanner.

We had filled out the fun pass information online as required, but we still had to stand in the line with all of the people that didn't do this, so what was the point? Then we had to again provide our passport at the check in desk (third time and we're not even on the boat yet). After the first luggage scan you have to present the passport again at the carry luggage scan (number four), then upon entering the boat you have to present the passport again.
