My husband and I, who are in our mid 60's arrived in Long Beach to board the Carnival Paradise. We drove through the luggage drop off. I stayed with the luggage while he parked the car. He returned immediately as there was no problem parking the car. Our luggage was put on to carriers to board the ship. We walked a short distance to board the ship. No lines and no time!

Our ocean view cabin was very small. We had the beds separated so one of us would not have to climb over the other one to get in bed. There was a huge cabinet, which holds the life jackets, at the end of the combined beds blocking the entrance. The twin beds are narrow, but comfortable. the cabin is much more spacious in this configuration.

We were disappointed not to have more activities at sea and particularly more activities during our one day at shore. it seemed that the game shows and activities were really slowed down when bingo or the art auction was on which was disappointing.
