WOW, what can I say? This was a great Vacation!!! To start off with, let me tell you this was my first cruise. It will NOT be my last. We got off of the plane in Miami and RC was there to pick us up. We were taken to the ship which was HUGE!!! Check in was not very painful at all. It took about 1 hour total and we were on the boat. We went to Windjammers to eat as we were very hungry from an early morning flight. They had everything you could ever imagine. I ate more fruit and desserts than anything else. Everyone was so helpful with explaining how to get to where we needed to go. The wait staff all had a smile on their face and seemed to love their jobs. We got a balcony stateroom and were on the 6th floor. When we got to our room, it was bigger than I thought. They bathroom was small and the shower was the smallest I had ever seen but it was comfy. The beds were VERY comfortable and we slept like babies. Abdel, our stateroom attendant, was great. He came in three times a day and cleaned our room from top to bottom. I loved the little animals he made out of towels....so cute! The rooms have safes to put your valuables which made me feel safer.

Okay- some advice-- Without you drink a TON of soda, don't get the soda package. I ended up drinking coke just because I thought I needed to get my money out of it. -GO to Chops. It was well worth the $25.00. I had fillet that melted in my mouth. You will NOT be disappointed. - Go to the Ice show. It was great. We loved it and were amazed at the quality of the show. I took my two little cousins to Disney on Ice several years ago and I really thought this show ON A BOAT was better! - DO NOT buy the STUPID shopping book from HOLLIE the shopping and Port Guide. We got two of them ($25.00 a piece) and everywhere we took it, the shop told us they would give us a better deal without it. YES, you get a black bag at DelSol but it SUCKS. The bag you get from Lancome is 1000% nicer than that piece of JUNK. I called RC to complain about this and they actually refunded my money which was more than I was expecting. (They really try to please you.) -If you go on the Eastern cruise, get ready to be disappointed in San Juan. It was very very dirty and not a lot of great shopping. We got there around 3pm and got back on the ship at 7pm because it was so bad. -St. Thomas has great shopping. We got a lot of nice things there and I would love to go back. -St. Maarten was nice as well but very poor. We went on the best of St. Maarten tour and could not believe the poverty. It made me glad to be from the USA! -Dinners at the dinning room were all great! The head waiter ever cut my steak up for me and cut the tails off of my shrimp. I could get used to that! They all seemed happy and pleasant to talk to. I really enjoyed meeting everyone. FOOD IS GREAT!!!

-Go to Johnny Rockets at least once. There is a 3.90 cover charge per person but it was a blast. Before you can even order they bring you a bowl of onion rings, french fries and ranch dip. The hamburgers were great too. We ate and were soooo full but they brought us out this oreo sundae that was awesome! We never even asked for it. Also, the wait staff dances every thirty minutes to an oldies song. It was so much fun to watch them. -I don't have any kids but if I did, this would be the ship I would take them on!!! There was so much to do for kids. H2o Zone was too cool. Why didn't they have that stuff when I was younger. -GO to the Love and Marriage show. I honestly have never laughed so hard in my whole life. I hope these words of advice have helped you. We loved this ship and would go back tomorrow if we could. If you have any questions, shoot me an e-mail. I would be happy to answer you. Lastly, if you are so lucky to have Becky Thompson as your cruise director, you had better get ready for a blast! She was awesome. I swear that woman is on SPEED! She was everywhere all the time. If you see her for me, tell her "Hi Love"....and do it with a smile. You will understand when you cruise with her! Freedom of the Seas is a GREAT Ship with tons to do. I hope you have as much fun on it as I did!!! Happy Cruise.
