We drove to the port and parked at a local garage who then shuttled us to the port. Saved a few dollars, but could have got out of the port quicker if we had parked at the port. Pay a few more dollars and park at the port if driving.

Long lines, but they move fast on embarkation. In our rooms by 12:30. Met our room steward Elmer. He was fantastic the whole cruise. We had two rooms side by side. Dw and I in one room, Three daughters in the other. Elmer took care of any need we had and even made towel animals for our youngest daughter. She Loved Them! Our travel agent reserved tradition sitting by mistake. We did anytime last year and like it. This mistake was a blessing! We loved the extra service. We told our waiters Mark and Romeo what we liked one time and they took care of it. We loved the parade on the last night. My oldest was leaving to meet friends, but the head waiter stopped her so she wouldn't miss the parade. She loved it( and the baked Alaska!)! The lines for pictures on formal night were long, but they have started taking more informal pictures.

The crew was always friendly and would stop and say hello all the time. We had rough seas one day which kept DW in the cabin, But it turn the middle pool into a wave pool which the kids loved!
