This was my first cruise so I have nothing to compare it to.once on the ship we went to Raffles and then up to top deck 13 to watch take off.. I went with my husband a 2 children , 18 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son . my sister , her husband and 3 kids . my mom and a friend . The food I thought was delicious. The buffet included,, I never had buffet food that was this good. We mostly ate at The Garden due to the fact that you didn't have to dress up like at Windows . The food was excellent. We ate Japanese a few times it was OK,,we are big into Japanese food and it wasn't the best we ever had.. Sushi included. The first night we went to Galaxy of the Stars.. for the band Next Stage which were excellent and later on they had the Newlywed Game .. we were picked to participate on the Newly Wed Game and it was hilarious.. they showed it on TV the whole week on channel 15.. it was a lot of fun.,. we went to the Casino a few times my husband won $1K on the Wheel of Fortune machine. in only 3 shots , that was great, I went to the Gym alot and really enjoyed it. it was great, small but good.. We saw Sharkbait and they were hilarious and very good jugglers , I could barely walk straight on the ship let alone juggle . Jeff Tachta put on some performance , multitalented and very moving.. his impressions were out of this world, the best I have ever seen. I went to a class with the Physical Instructor which was very informative. The Handwriting Analyst was excellent. I thought the Hypnotist was very entertaining and funny.

I see Darin is getting a lot of jabs , surprisingly to me. I thought he was adorable , friendly , and I saw him alot at all the shows. he seemed to be doing a great job to me. I don't really agree with all this Darin bashing. He even approached me about the NewlyWed game afterwards to ask if I had seen myself on T.V. I thought that was nice. As far as the staff is concerned they practically fell over themselves trying to get me drinks and cleaning up the tables and such.. I never saw staff that were so eager to please.. They would bend over backwards for me. The whole experience was wonderful,.. the only thing I did notice was there was a subcurrent of nasty guests.. most were very very nice, but I ran into a few hostile passengers who had bad attitudes and weren't too friendly .. kind of obnoxious.. we were at the Galaxy of the Stars and an older gentleman who is in a wheel chair went to the bathroom , came back and a young man was in his seat . My brother inlaw asked him to please give him back the seat and he copped an attitude.. I went over and had to practically beg this guy to get up.. They didn't seem to believe that he used a wheel chair and resented even being asked to give him a seat.. most people would have given up the chair to a disabled person out of commoncourtesy , that was lacking with a few people on the ship. I also had an altercation with a young couple which the guy wound up signaling profanities to me by the pool area.. I finally told him he better leave before my husband comes back and that finally got rid of this lowlife.

The only concern I have is the pool flooring .. it is extremely slippery and a danger. I can't count how many people fell due to this hazard, but it must be rectified.. finally and I knew it was coming a young girl of approximately 11 yrs. slipped and hit her head right above her eye and received sutures,.. she was very traumatized and needlessly hurt due to this hazard. This ship has a lot of things going on for the little ones.. they have the kids club which is excellent. they do a lot of great things with the kids and they love it... We went to Bermuda , I am not crazy about it.. it was ok. Tortola was my favorite... it was very Native, you knew weren't in America. St. Thomas was great for the shopping . I felt this boat was geared for families with children , alot of little ones on board , which is great for me and my family.. I think it is a bit crowded for older people... if you don't like crowds and a lot of little ones then maybe its not for you. We just loved it.. for us it was perfect.
