we flew down to miami, no problems or delay, thank god. safe flight there and back. this was our second carnival cruise. the first one was on the ecstacy back in 1997. we had loads of fun from the second we stepped on the ship. LOADS! if you don't have a great time it is your own fault. the weather was at least 90 degrees everyday. we're sun lovers. lol we went to grand cayman island and ocho rios, jamaica. in grand cayman, we went snorkeling. it was breathtaking. in jamaica mon, we swan with the dolphins and climbed the falls at dunns river. what an amazing experience. jamaicans were very, very pushy! on the ship, we met some really cool people. had some sushi at the bar nightly before our early seating dinner at 5:45. yum. breakfast was somewhat disappointing. the selections were the same daily except for the egg selection of the day. it could have been presented better and had more options (sylwester, our breakfast waiter, was a doll!) we even ran into ugersursy morat. he was on our last cruise. what a nice guy. last cruise he was our waiter, this time we reminisced.

lunch.....great selections! however, i ate one day at the lido deck because i didn't want to leave the pool and my sun time. everything was delish! dinner...........again, yum. our waiters were nothing short of spectacular. the night before we left, our asst. waiter, cesar, was sad to see everyone go. he truly was. we all bonded and had such a great time with him. the disco was, eh! the dj wouldn't cater to everyone. he only played rap and funk music. we were bored just sitting around. the entertainment was good and the comedians were really good. the only thing i wouldn't recommend is having a room in the very front of the ship. you really feel the waves breaking. midship to back is better. going on the triumph this year. CAN'T WAIT!!!!! carnival truly is the fun ship.
