Made our own plane reservations, but met up with Celebrity representatives at the airport where they were meeting other incoming flights. Moved our luggage about 10 times to the motorcoach that was to take us to the ship - this part of the trip was very poorly organized.

Embarkation was fairly straightforward - greeted with champagne and given detailed instructions on where to find food, etc. while waiting for room to be ready. We arrived around 11 a.m. and they said rooms would be ready by 1 p.m. and there would be an announcement - there never was an announcement but we tried rooms around noon and they were ready. In Concierge Class we had champagne, fruit and flowers waiting for us.

The ship is beautiful - service was absolutely outstanding. Food ranged from so so to excellent. The Olympic Restaurant should not be missed - worth every penny of the $25 surcharge. Service in Metropolitan Restaurant was also superb - food was usually very good - only had one meal that wasn't great.
