This was my 3rd cruise with Carnival in 10 years....the last two were in 2005 and 2007 with my girlfriend. This cruise was my least favorite of them all.

The cabin stewards and dining staff were VERY friendly and courteous. The purser's desk was always busy....I had to see them because my account was deactivated for no apparent reason as was told by them. We enjoyed the comedians with Happy Cole as our favorite. The nightly musical shows could do some fine tuning on their song selection. The Amber Palace is kept very cold, so bring a sweater etc. if you get cold easily. The sound system was good, but the vocals were one notch up from the band which made any talking to the audience by the performers hard to understand what they were saying.

Embarkation was the quickest yet with disembarkation taking a little longer. Our flight out wasn't until 2:50, so we had no problems being #24 .......other passengers seating near us were #28 with a flight out at 1:00......we ran into these people at the airport and they had missed their flight because the bus didn't arrive at the airport until 12:20. Carnival should've had these people off earlier.
