We flew in a day early, which was good since we were delayed about 2 hours in Atlanta. We flew in from Phoenix, AZ. Stayed in the Holiday Inn Express on 17th st. We arrived in FLL at 1:30am and called the hotel shuttle, it arrived in about 10 minutes. The hotel was nice and clean. All we did was go straight to bed. They had breakfast in the lobby in the AM. It was good. We took the 11:00am shuttle to the pier.

Embarkation and Cabin: We arrived at the pier about 11:10, there wasn't very many people there yet. We went inside and got our number, 3. At about 12:00 they started calling numbers, we were in our cabin by 12:20. It went very smooth. We stayed in D710, mini suite. We were met by our cabin steward, Conrad. He brought our robes, and we asked him about the champagne, he said it is on ice and he would be back with it. I also asked him about the egg crate foam, and he said no problem. He was back with our champagne within about 10 minutes. I couldn't believe all the room we had. The bathroom was amazing! This was our first balcony, and I don't think we will ever go back.

Dining: We had anytime dining. We went to the Palm Dining Room for dinner the first night. Loved out waiter, Stefan, from Romania. We then made reservations for the rest of the week at the same table. Food was wonderful! My DH loves seafood, and he didn't miss any! Lobster night, he had 10, (YES I said 10) lobster tails. Everything was great, we didn't have any complaints. We had most of our breakfasts on our balcony. We would order room service to be delivered at 8:00am and then when DD woke she would go up to the Horizon Court and bring back more. I have to say the coffee in room service was much better than the coffee in the buffet.
