ABOUT US: We are both late 30s, on our honeymoon. We have 3 kids who did not travel with us. Both of us are professional performers and teachers.

GETTING THERE: We chose to drive from Vermont (!) as we'd just paid for a wedding. We drive to FL a lot so it was no big deal, and we used the drive time to listen to music, take pictures, read, talk, etc. - and used the extra 2 motel room nights to eat out and sleep in... a honeymoon extension!

HOTEL: We had two lovely nights in VA and Savannah BUT got a late start from Savannah and faced traffic on I-95... next time I'd get a very early start or stay a night in Tampa Read more
