Overall, our cruise was fantastic! After doing lots of world traveling (and roughing it though, ex. backpacking and hostels :D), we decided to give cruising a try. In preparation for our cruise, we read through a lot of review warning against the hurry up and wait approach to boarding, so we decided to enjoy a nice lunch at our hotel, and than walk around and shop for a bit before heading over to the cruise terminal. When we got there we had to wait in a bit of a line to check our suitcases, than the lines for all the embarkation stuff (totaling about 1hr). Once we got on the ship we checked out our inside state room, which was just the right size for the three of us to fit comfortably. The food in the dining room was good...mostly, there was one experience with a sushi plate my dad ordered, which had sour cream, and other odd stuff on it, and was definitely not good food (although it was amusing to watch him try to stomach it lol). However, our waiter was more than happy to bring us additional entrees, so order up if more than one thing sounds good :). As well, one of the evenings I decided that I didn't want to spend the time to have a sit-down dinner (b/c the teen stuff was pretty fun, and I made a group of friends with in the first night to hang out with and play cards with :) ). Instead I ordered room service and had a fabulous foccacia sandwich, but the most amazing part was the chocolate cake, I swear it was the best I've ever tasted. If you are going on the elation anytime soon you HAVE to try it.

I think the teen disco was pretty cool, although hardly anyone danced, it was still a good spot to meet up with people to hangout with. As well, there would periodically be free smoothies, sodas, and cookies in there, so be sure to check it sometimes if you get bored! A couple of things to be aware of though are that the teen disco only goes until midnight, and than you are on your own to run around and get yelled at by security (only if you don't have shoes on mostly lol...at 2am ;) ), also the hot tubs are always closed up by 10, so you can't go take a dip after the show :(, and sometimes they are closed even earlier than that! Overall I would definitely recommend this ship to teenagers, even though there aren't many structured activities, just go to the orientation on the first day, find a bit of confidence, and start talking to people. Running around randomly with groups of teenagers is always fun! Btw, the zodiac snorkeling in Cabo is AMAZING! :D
