This was the cruise leg of a Princess Cruisetour combining the Canadian Rockies and the northbound Cruise of the Glaciers.

In brief, the land tour was excellent and the scenery was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the Jasper Park Lodge and the Rocky Mountaineer. This particular cruisetour is not promoted heavily in the U.S. Out of 44 people on the tour, there were only 2 couples from the U.S. and one couple from Canada. All the rest were from the UK. What a wonderful group of people! A core group of probably 26-30 became close on the land portion and we carried it through to the cruise portion. 3 nights in Crooners (we almost overwhelmed them with the logistics of accommodating a group that size) and the last night in Explorers (it was empty) made for great fun comparing the day's activities. I cannot recommend this cruisetour highly enough.

On to the cruise.
